Biography

I’m a Ph.D. student at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. I’m a member of the Image and Video Understanding Lab (IVUL) under the supervision of Professor Bernard Ghanem. Previously, I was a member of the Biomedical Computer Vision Lab (BCV) at Uniandes, where I completed my M.Sc. degree advised by Pablo Arbelaez. I also interned at the Embodied AI Lab at Intel and Adobe Research. My work has encompassed various areas, including Temporal Action Localization, Object Detection, Video-Language Grounding, Video Summarization, and more. Currently, my research focuses on AI for Creative Video Editing and Understanding, situated at the intersection of Creativity and Perception.
